For the second segment of the space project we were asked to take a journey for the sake of taking a journey. I chose to take a journey around the suburb of Bundoora following only the colour of maroon.
Here is a photographed documentation of my journey:
My crimson adventure started at a mail box with no mail in it.
Low and behold I managed to find another crimson object within walking distance. Could this journey be easier than I originally intended.
From this Jayco caravan I was stuck. I couldn’t seem to find any maroon until. Wait, could it be?
An air conditioning unit saved my life!
Getting closer to the air conditioning unit led me to a nearby park.
Which led me to a nearby sign.
Which led me to a nearby tree.
Followed by another car.
Followed by some more signs…
Finally, after my designated hour was up I found the final pole of crimson redemption.
Which ended my dense journey of colour.
As for my thoughts on this journey, I found the exploration of space to hold a certain feeling of liberation. I enjoyed wondering around the local neighborhood with no rhyme or reason, except for that of maroon. I really need to take more walks more regularly.
